I have experience with hens parties, birthday groups, school holiday programs, art for wellbeing, council events, festivals, plus run programs in nursing homes and disabled organisations. 

Clay making, jewellery making, leatherwork, screenprinting or painting can all be used as an activity to share with your colleagues. It can reconnect you with one another, teach different approaches, build resilience, reopen communication channels and reduce stress. These types of sessions can also give your staff better tools to teach skills to others - especially if you are delivering services to children, teens, those with a disability or training other staff.

Let Tatty K teach you how to make your own custom relief tiles for installation on a garden wall, a large rock or trunk, as part of a mosaic or into a picture frame

learn what functional objects you can make by hand building: utensil holders, soap dishes, juice squeezers, salt pigs, table organisers even a bathroom sink.

Learn how to create forms on a pottery wheel: centre, pull up, stretch, shape, refine and compress the rim. Wheeel takes many attempts and multiple processes, it is suggested that you attend 3 sessions: 1 to throw, one to carve and the final to glaze and decorate. 3 Sessions + firing and glazing  would cost $150 and you would get 3 completed items.

Make metal jewellery the easy way … using malleable metal and clay making techniques! 

Learn all the tips and tricks of metal clay, including: how to design, shape, texture, add additions, refine, fire and polish your own unique art piece.

No prior experience required.

Either walk out wearing your silver jewellery or collect your bronze item from the kiln, the day after the workshop.

Book Tatty K to teach a group of friends or family pottery at your house (or hers*). Techniques can include pinch, coil, slab work, hand wheel or combination hand building. Available Friday evening by appointment (6-9pm) Saturday afternoons from 2pm

I have 4 portable battery operated pottery wheels and 1 non-powered treadle wheel.
